02/18/19 He is with Us

READING: Leviticus 13:1-14:32, Matthew 27:57-28:20

Always.

Forever.

Without stopping.

To the end of the age.

For all believers.

No matter what we face.

Wherever we go – even to the ends of the earth to reach the nations.

This is Jesus’ promise to us when we follow Him: “And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Matt. 28:20). That is, we are never alone as we walk with Him; we never have to fight our spiritual battles by ourselves. We can do all things through Christ who lives in us.

When we remember that He is with us, nothing should frighten us. No mountain should seem too high to climb, and no valley should intimidate us into discontinuing the journey. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is with us.

PRAYER: “Jesus, I’m amazed that You’re with me always. Remind me of that truth every time I need to trust You.”

TOMORROW’S READING: Leviticus 14:33-16:34, Mark 1:1-20
