Today we come to the end of the first full year of the www.chucklawless.com website. I can’t thank you enough for taking the time to read the daily blog posts and devotions. It’s because of you, the reader, that this site has been successful.
When I started this site in the middle of 2015, my prayer was that God would use it to encourage pastors, lift up missionaries, challenge laypersons, and help grow healthy, God-centered, devil-defying churches. That goal hasn’t changed. Others are marvelous at addressing cultural and political issues, and I need to leave those challenges to my brothers and sisters who are gifted and called to tackle them. What I desire is for church leaders to approach their tasks with more love and hope each day after they read my posts.
I need your prayers in 2017, though, for a couple of reasons. First, our goal is to add at least a weekly podcast to the site, and I also want to provide more video-based resources for churches. Both of those commitments will take time, and I’ll need wisdom to balance my life in the process.
Second, I'm praying that the site will reach more people. You can help me not only by praying, but also by encouraging your friends, colleagues, and staff to subscribe to the daily blog posts and devotions. I reaffirm my commitment to you to provide biblically sound, practically relevant materials.
Finally, I am genuinely committed to praying for my readers. If you would like me to pray for you and your work, contact me through this site. The contacts come directly to me, and I read them all.
