I don’t usually use this site to promote things, but I believe in what Southeastern Seminary is doing to help train laypeople and leaders in our churches via fully online “GO Certificates.” We believe that every Christian is to be a Great Commission Christian, and we want to make theological and practical training available for everyone.
These online GO Certificates are designed to fit any type of schedule. Classes consist of 20-minute sessions, five days a week for six weeks, and are all taught by SEBTS faculty. Church members can also register for individual courses if desired.
Currently, folks can sign up for the Certificate in Biblical Studies and Theology, which provides a strong biblical foundation for any ministry. Courses include Hermeneutics, Christian Theology, Old Testament, New Testament, Contemporary Issues in Christian Ethics, Historical Theology, and Great Commission Studies.
I teach the Great Commission Studies class. My goal in the class is to help small group leaders, Sunday school teachers, and others build a theological foundation and learn some practical tools for doing evangelism and missions. I invite you to join us for this class.
