As a student of church growth, I realize many folks aren’t comfortable talking about church “numbers.” In some cases, they’ve seen church leaders compromise in method or theology to increase numbers. Others are simply concerned that focusing on numbers can quickly become man-centered. I recognize these concerns, but I’m not opposed to evaluating a church by its numbers—as these posts will show:
