10/21/23 Saturday Prayer Challenge

My friend, John Franklin, describes four ways you may recognize God’s work in a life:

  1. When that person has a hunger for God and spiritual things. The desire for God, to study the Bible, to have a deeper prayer life, to become more like Jesus, and so on, only comes from God.
  2. When that person desires to serve and sacrifice for Christ. Satan does not urge people to serve in the things of God or to put others first.
  3. When that person is seeking ways to build up others. When God’s people desire to minister to one another, meet each other’s needs, and build unity and fellowship, God is motivating them.
  4. When a Christian demonstrates strength in trial. The ability to face cancer, job loss, death of a loved one, or some other trial with unusual strength comes from God.

Pray today that God’s work would be evident in you.
