One-year plan: Deuteronomy 10-13, Luke 1:39-66
Two-year plan: Exodus 37:1-38:20, Matthew 25:31-46
———-
Today, I simply allow the Word of God to speak to us. Hear these commands to the people of God in Deuteronomy 10-13:
- “ . . . what does the Lord your God ask of you except to fear the Lord your God by walking in all his ways, to love him, and to worship the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul?” (Deut 10:12)
- “For the Lord your God is the God of gods and Lord of lords, the great, mighty, and awe-inspiring God, showing no partiality and taking no bribe.” (Deut 10:17)
This is who God is . . . and this is the way He expects us to live. He is mighty, and we must walk in His ways, love Him, and worship Him with all our being. It’s really that simple.
PERSONAL REFLECTION: What does the almighty God require of you today?
PRAYER: “Help me, Lord, to walk in Your ways today.”
