When It’s Really Hard to Love Your Church . . .

Perhaps you’re struggling loving your congregation today. I wish that reality were never the case, but I know better. Even the strongest churches are tough to love once in a while. Forgive me for recommending one of my sermons to address this issue, but this sermon describes from the Word what helps me to love even the most unlovable people. The setting is the chapel of Southeastern Seminary, where I teach.

Sermon title: “You Want Me to Do What?”

Text: 1 Corinthians 1:1-9, in addition to other texts in the book
