Today, I’m simply going to list some of the psalmist’s words about his love for God’s Word—and let them challenge me:
- “I trust your commands.” (Psa 119:66)
- “I delight in your law.” (Psa 119:70)
- “The law from your mouth is more precious to me than thousands of pieces of silver and gold.” (Psa 119:72)
- “Oh, how I love your law!” (Psa 119:97)
- “How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!” (Psa 119:103)
- “Your statutes are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart.” (Psa 119:11)
- “I stand in awe of your laws.” (Psa 119:12)
- “I love your commands more than gold, more than pure gold.” (Psa 119:127)
- “Your statutes are wonderful.” (Psa 119:129)
I have a long, long way to go in my love for the Word. May God help me!
