I’m convinced that most of us won’t read the Bible regularly without a reading plan. If we try to determine every morning what we’re going to read that day, something else is likely to get in the way of our reading before we ever determine the text. Distracting stuff just happens—not only because we get busy doing something else, but also because Satan and his forces fight against our reading the Word.
So, I want to invite you to join me in reading the Word together in 2020. The plan I will follow this next year is a 5-day per week reading plan that guides you to read the entire Bible or only the New Testament if you’re just learning to read daily. Here’s the plan that actually begins on Monday, January 6th.

You may also know that I write a daily devotional based on each day’s reading. Because some of the folks who read with me will be reading only the NT next year, I plan to write my devotions from the NT in 2020. If you’re not already subscribed, I invite you to join us by signing up on the lower right-hand side of my website home page (www.chucklawless.com).
If you want to see how I read the Word, check out this post. Feel free to invite others to join us as well. I’m excited about our reading the Word again in 2020!
I’m looking forward to using this reading plan. What will be the key words for the year?
Do you mean the key concepts I’ll be watching for?
Yep!
