05/06/23 Saturday Prayer Challenge

Today, let these words of pastor Keith Manuel challenge you to pray more and to lead your church to do the same:

“When the church is in peril, we need to come before His throne, boldly, on behalf of the body of Christ. We need to admit to Him our desperation and our utter inability to make the changes without His leadership and guidance. As we pray, putting our need before a righteous God, His Holy Spirit begins to work in our lives through His peace and presence. We begin to get a sense of comfort and conviction.

When we recognize the sufficiency of Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit dwelling in us, we will want to seek His face. The God who knows all is willing to communicate with us. To share his knowledge with us. To share his heart with us. He loves us enough to let us draw near to Him. We may not be able to recline upon the physical presence of the Lord as John did, but we can lean on His understanding, instead of our own. In all of our ways, we can acknowledge Him. In the moments when we do this, He will direct our paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Trust Him. Seek Him. Find His Heart.”
