I’m convinced that most of us won’t read the Bible regularly without a reading plan. If we try to determine every morning what we’re going to read that day, something else is likely to get in the way of our reading before we ever determine the text. Distracting stuff just happens—not only because we get busy doing something else, but also because Satan and his forces fight against our reading the Word.
So, I want to invite you to join me in reading the Word together in 2025. The plan I will follow this next year is a 5-day per week reading plan that guides you to read the entire Bible. The first reading for tomorrow is Genesis 1-4.
You may also know that I write a daily devotional based on each day’s reading. If you’re not already subscribed, I invite you to join us by signing up on the lower right-hand side of this website home page (www.chucklawless.com). Each day’s devotion will include the next day’s reading, too.
Finally, I plan this next year to invite folks to join me in memorizing two Scripture verses per month. Frankly, I’m taking this step this next year not primarily to help you, but to hold myself accountable for my own memorization. I hope you’ll join me.
I’m looking forward to using this reading plan. What will be the key words for the year?
Do you mean the key concepts I’ll be watching for?
Yep!
I believe I will join you. Thank you.
Can you sign me up for the Bible reading in a year? Thank you.
