READING: Psalms 25, 29, 33, 36, 39

TEXTS AND APPLICATION: While today’s readings include several psalms, these prayers of Psalm 25 are powerful — worth memorizing, so I will seek to do so. The verses speak of God’s compassion and guiding:

25:4-5a  Make Your ways known to me, Lordteach me Your paths. Guide me in Your truth and teach me . . .

25:6-7  Remember, Lord, Your compassion and Your faithful love, for they have existed from antiquity. Do not remember the sins of my youth or my acts of rebellion; in keeping with Your faithful love, remember me because of Your goodness, Lord.

25:11  Because of Your name, Yahweh, forgive my sin, for it is great.

25:20-21  Guard me and deliver me; do not let me be put to shame, for I take refuge in You. May integrity and what is right watch over me, for I wait for You.

PRAYER: Please pray that I will strive to memorize these verses — but more importantly, that I will walk in integrity while always waiting on the Lord and trusting Him.
