07/10/23 Who?

READING: Psalms 113-119

NOTE: I got a day ahead in my reading plan last week, and I wrongly published this devotion one day too early. I am re-publishing it to keep it in the proper order now. Perhaps it will speak to you again today. If you want to read what was supposed to be last Friday’s devotion on Psalms 115-112, you can find it here.

—–

Short.

To the point.

Just the Word of God.

It’s the question of the psalmist in Psalm 113: “Who is like the Lord our God—the one enthroned on high, who stoops down to look on the heavens and the earth?” (Psa 113:5-6)

Who, indeed, is like the Lord, who reigns over all and yet reaches down to the lowly?

There is no one like Him.

He alone is God.

Amen.

PERSONAL REFLECTION: Do you stand in awe of the Lord?

DAILY PRAYER: “Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Let all the people say, ‘Amen!’ Hallelujah!.” (Psa 106:48)

TOMORROW’S READING: Psalms 120-136
